Arctic Offshore Drilling Review - Inuvik Roundtable Meeting
The NEB is reviewing the safety and environmental requirements for offshore drilling in Canada’s Arctic and we want to hear from you.
As part of the Arctic Offshore Drilling Review, the Board will host a Roundtable meeting in Inuvik, NT from Monday, 12 September until Friday, 16 September 2011. The meeting is scheduled to run from 9:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.
The event will be broadcast live over the NEB's Internet site. The Roundtable will be interpreted into Inuinnaqtun, Gwich’in, Inuvialuktun, Inuktitut and French and you can listen over the telephone by dialing 1-888-999-9261.

Inuvik Office
The National Energy Board has opened an office in Inuvik, Northwest Territories. The new office, located at 125 Mackenzie Road, is staffed by local resident Marie-Anick Elie. Her role will be to help monitor and coordinate regional initiatives, including the Board’s commitments related to the Mackenzie Gas Project and other activities. The NEB’s regulatory responsibilities in the North, including its commitment to a robust compliance program, require the Board to have a strong presence north of 60.

The National Energy Board will use courier services to ensure that the flow of mail to and from our offices is minimally disrupted by the strike.
In all cases where a regulatory document needs to be mailed to a Post Office Box, Regulatory Services has retained an email address, fax number or telephone number to contact the individual. These individuals will be advised that a regulatory document has been posted to our website, and can be faxed or couriered upon request. This method of distribution will only be used temporarily, for the duration of the Canada Post strike.
PLEASE NOTE: If you have recently mailed or couriered items to the NEB through Canada Post, they may not reach the NEB. Please contact the NEB at 1-800-899-1265 to determine whether your information has been received.
