"Well I'm Howard Wetston, currently Chair of the Ontario Energy Board. I worked at the National Energy Board in 1982/83, as a counsel in the Law Branch as well as Assistant General Counsel, worked with Fred> Lamar when he was General Counsel.

And the past is an indication of the present; it was a great Board then, it's a great Board now. It has made a great contribution to Canada and its role as the National Energy Board and regulator of the energy sector.

We had a great Law branch then, some people well known to the NEB. I also worked with Gaétan Caron. I worked with Ken> Vollman, familiar names when Chairman Edge was the Chairman of the National Energy Board.

So, great memories, wonderful Board, and all the best to the Board and the staff as well as the Board Members. Great past, great future, great organization; thank you!"
