Hi my name is Jim Dolan, I used to work at the National Energy Board from 1975 to 1991. Probably my most memorable experience was when my secretary, Carolyn Ward, said that working at the NEB was kind of like being on Fantasy Island. And by all accounts I'd have to agree with her because some of the experiences I had travelling through the Northwest Territories with the rock, Jean Morel, and running the seawall with Loyola Keough and some of the funny situations that happened. I'm sure Loyola might recall one that happened in Madame Thur's office but I won't go into the details; it would be funny for Loyola myself, and I'd just like to wish the Energy Board a happy birthday. And one of the funniest things that ever happened was with, when we were up in Fort St. John with Dave Bursey and Nancy Berard, she used to work at the Energy Board, and we were walking around the town at the evening and there was a country band playing and we decided to find out what was going on so we went in and lo and behold they were having a mechanical bull riding contest. And we had, Dave and I ponied up the money for Nancy Berard and she ended up winning the bull riding contest, mainly because one lady was so inebriated that when she got on the bull she slid off of it before they could even start it and the second girl wasn't much better. But Nancy jumped up on the bull, the boys gave her a cowboy hat, gave her the gloves to ride on and cheered her on and that was kind of an interesting and memorable experience.
