"Hello. I worked at the NEB in the summer of 1996, from May to August, as a student in Legal Services. It was a great experience and my first time out West. Two events made a big impression on me. One was Gaétan Caron's restructuring of the teams. You can imagine how much talk that created around the coffee machine! I worked on the ERF (Electronic Regulatory Filing Project) and had the huge task of looking at all the legislation and regulations administered by the NEB to find each occurrence of the words "write" and "written". And in 1996, Word Office didn't make this any easier. Another event, somewhat funnier, occurred as well. I was very involved in the NEB's activities, and some jokers didn't tell me to bring a change of clothes the day of the Stampede Breakfast. They had me grilling bacon and sausages and I reeked of bacon grease all day long! But I had such a good time, and the Stampede Breakfast was great fun.
Happy Anniversary to everyone at the Board! Have a good time!"
