Hello,
I'm Pierre-Olivier Pineau, professor at the École des Hautes Études Commerciales de Montréal. My vision for the National Energy Board is a regulator that integrates Canada's electricity markets to ensure better power use and better generation practices so that we will truly enjoy all the resulting benefits, which today, unfortunately, is not the case. Via the National Energy Board and better Canadian and US integration, we could truly generate economic and environmental benefits that far exceed those we are achieving today.
I'd like to wish the National Energy Board a happy anniversary and best wishes for the next five years.
