My involvement with the National Energy Board goes back over four Chairmen starting with Geoff Edge, through Roland Priddle, Ken Vollman and now with Gaétan Caron. And over that period I've been engaged with the Board as a political staffer, as an applicant, as a policy resource and I'm sure Board, and Board staff have other names for me on the way by too but putting that aside I think I can say that the thing that always struck me with the Board over that period is its ability to change and adapt to changing circumstances whether that's at the political side, or the resource side or even at the community side, and so when we look forward to the coming years with the expansion of the oil sands and the development of shale gas, I'm sure we can count on the Board for the same kind of stewardship of the industry in a fair and constructive manner.
