" My biggest memory from the Board, I think, my eight years at the Board, was when they announced the moves that we were moving to Calgary.
I think that was by far both the most traumatic, the most , the most interesting and in the end brought people together in a way that you would never have imagined beforehand.
Certainly I remember the stress; there were all kinds of people worried about how that would go, play out. My own experience with it was extremely positive and we all got closer together actually as a result of this sort of stressful thing; so often human beings do that. And we did it and there were meetings afterwards, and there was lots of follow-up and lots of people that you knew in the hallway suddenly became - you had to share the experience that brought us closer together.
It was an amazingly stressful but very positive thing in the end, and I did go to Calgary of course, for a year before moving on in my career, so it was a tremendous experience.
What else? I guess there was a question of amusing incidents or things that happened at the Board. I don't remember any in particular but I do remember lots of great characters there, lots of funny people, people who made the work life lots of fun and a very positive thing.
I remember my years with the Board with a great deal of fondness; it was a great experience."
