Want to find out how you can be heard during the review process and public hearings for the Mackenzie Gas Project?

On October 7, 2004 Imperial Oil Resources Ventures Limited applied to the National Energy Board for authorization to construct and operate a natural gas pipeline and related facilities from the Mackenzie Delta south along the Mackenzie Valley.

At the same time, an Environmental Impact Statement was submitted to the Joint Review Panel, which will conduct the environmental assessment of the Mackenzie Gas Project.

For people who could be affected by the proposed project, an overview of the environmental assessment and regulatory review and public hearing processes will be given during several public information sessions.

The public is invited to attend the following information sessions:

• Inuvik - Ingamo Hall - Monday Nov. 15 at 7:00 p.m.
• Norman Wells - Royal Canadian Legion - Tuesday, Nov. 16 at 7:00 p.m.
• Yellowknife - Northern United Place - Wednesday, Nov. 17 at 7:00 p.m.
• Fort Simpson - Fort Simpson Community Hall - Tuesday, Nov. 23 at 7:00 p.m.

Coffee and refreshments available at 6:00 p.m.
