The public hearing will begin on Tuesday, 28 October at the Best Western Dawson Creek Inn at 9:00 a.m.
Starting Date: Tuesday 28 October 2008
Time: Hearing begins at 9:00 a.m.

The proposed project is a 149.7 kilometre, 323.9 millimetre outside diameter pipeline from the Grizzly Valley area southwest of Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia into a gathering and processing facility located near Wapiti, Alberta. The pipeline could transport up to 79 million standard cubic feet per day of dehydrated sour natural gas. If the project is approved, SemCAMS intends to begin construction in the fall of 2009.
The NEB is an independent federal agency that regulates several parts of Canada's energy industry. Its purpose is to promote safety and security, environmental protection, and efficient energy infrastructure and markets in the Canadian public interest, within the mandate set by Parliament in the regulation of pipelines, energy development and trade.
