This initiates certain procedural steps under the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act (CEA Act), but it should be noted that this is distinct from and does not constitute an Application under the NEB Act. When the proponent has also submitted a formal Application to the NEB, the project Application file can then be found under Major Applications.
