GX Technology Canada Ltd. proposes to conduct a 2-Dimensional (2-D) Ocean Bottom Cable (OBC) marine seismic survey and a land seismic project offshore Canada in the Beaufort Sea, and across the Tuktoyaktuk Peninsula in an area within the Inuvialuit Settlement Region (ISR) between September and October, 2010. Project activities for the marine seismic survey include: cable laying and retrieval, depth sounding, positioning, gravity and magnetic recording, and re-supply activities. Project activities for the land seismic line include: placement of wireless receivers, hand-unit drilling of shot holes, shot discharge, seismic recording, equipment retrieval and helicopter access.
