On 10 February 2015, the Federal Court heard an application by the Centre québécois du droit de l’environnement and France Lamonde (the applicants) to temporarily suspend the deadlines for the Board’s assessment of TCPL’s Energy East Project. The Attorney General and the NEB were named as respondents.

In their motion filed on 4 February 2015 , the applicants requested that the deadlines be suspended until either the report from the Commissioner of Official Languages is issued or the French version of the Energy East application is published on the NEB website.

The Federal Court has reserved its decision. The Court’s decision is expected next week.
