Canadian Energy Data Links

Canadian Energy Data Links

This database is a compilation of Canadian energy data links. The tabs were organized to follow an energy matrix logic – from resource to final consumption. There are two streams: the “oil and gas pathway” and the “electricity pathway”. This is our first attempt at bringing this information together. Should you notice that we missed a link or that one of the links is broken, please let us know. You can reach us at canadaenergydatalinks@neb-one.gc.ca.

The pathway approach considers oil and gas from its source through to end use along with the price at various stages. Links to the information may be comprehensive or by the individual elements that comprise the energy system.

System Wide

Links to comprehensive information about oil and gas

Resources

Links to information about oil and gas as it exists in the subsurface.

Exploration & Production

Links to information about the recovery and conversion of oil and gas into energy.

Transportation

Links to information about the movement of oil and gas to where it is consumed

Refining & Processing

Links to information about an additional step where the raw energy is modified to become usable energy

Demand

Links to information about the use of the fuel

Prices

Links to information about oil and gas prices

The pathway approach considers electricity from its source through to end use along with the price at various stages. Links to the information may be comprehensive or by the individual elements that comprise the energy system.

System Wide
